Hi, I've decided to install a monitoring solution and if possible a free one.

Naturally my choice goes to Nagios and the great web interface Centreon.

Concerning the Linux version, as I was using for some time Ubuntu, I decided to choose this one: Ubuntu Server 8.04 LTS.

In following posts, I'll describe the installation process I used for my monitoring solution.
