Caution for upgrades:
A note to other Nagios users following these instructions for an upgrade (3.2.0 to 3.2.3 in my case). I ran all except the last command “sudo update-rc.d -f nagios defaults”. All of my config files were replaced with original copies. After a brief moment of panic I realized they were backed up so I was able to restore one by one “cp windows.cfg~ windows.cfg”. My mistake for not doing more research prior to the upgrade.
